I wanted to write this review because I am so grateful to have been recommended to Patrick Embley and his Team at Advanced Physio. They are group of professionals who are in my opinion, THE BEST. I have been to many a Physio over the years and Patrick genuine enthusiasm, knowledge, keeping current, abreast of with practices, his visual show and tell manner and teaching me as a patient with use of the skeleton to explain a motor or nerve or muscle ligament , tendon etc, he does it with pride, detail and grass roots easy to grasp explanations and honest opinion shines through to each of his team. he advocates this with in his team and it shows in the way they all gel. So important in health care and the there is alwasy hope feeling you have on entering and leaving your appointment. I've known Patrick for 5 years. I have had Physio, IMS, Ultra sound, Laser ...they provide a range of services depending on what is felt is needed. Just go to the website! I love that he has exercise bikes and equipment that is as is needed and that I can buy teh rubber bands I needed right there and so reasonable. He and his team are upbeat, positive, motivating, and always eager to solve the condition at hand, no matter how busy he/they are.. he is always there for my family and I. Wether sports or work or what ever related they are your team to go to! I have sent colleagues, friends and strangers there. I just cant say enough positive feedback. In this world of social media there are no negatives at all here I can attest to that! If you can book ahead do so and plan so you get the time needed. They are alwasy accommodating as they are organised! They are welcoming, so caring and patient to listen, they address your needs and the follow up with emailed exercise routines where you an see a 5-10 second video of what Patrick Advises is visual, helps you remember and practice the correct moments. Calls to remind you of an appointment and even if you are ok. How nice!Patrick was key and my first line of defence to diagnose my lower lumber issue in 2013 I had a successful micro disectomy surgery 2014 thanks to his recommendation and communications with my great Doctors. His experience and attention to detail, being a good listening and taking action are rare, he has it! Taking time to his to log his notes and via voice notes immediately and diagnosis is truelly amazing . Very thorough and time managed, this is so important in our busy world. You may feel $90 is alot but trust me, it is well worth this and more. Other PT's Ive seen for an appointment and 1-2 hours later hours being left behind waiting 30 - 45 mins past the schedule time, dirty equipment, floors bathrooms, or the PT doesn't remember who you are or what they were doing with you is unacceptable! No thanks! So make the call. Patrick diagnosed my right shoulder rotator cuff early, and again with communications to my wonderful Doctors and Surgeons, I had successful surgery in Aug 2017 . I would highly recommend Advanced Physiotherapy and have done to many friends, family, colleagues and people I dont know but had seen me in a sling or rehabing. If you Physio is away taking a well needed break, there is always someone experienced to assist, if you suddenly can't get in to see you regular PT, I believe he also has Specialist in Arthritis come to the clinic, as well, wow ! I carry Patricks and teams cards with me everywhere. I love my Physio! If you not going o Advanced Physio, you need do be! Its not about cost its about time and quality. I'm in an out within 30 mins. On time , if I need more time they are always accommodating when they can, Jan and Cathy on the front desk are Ambassadors of kind warm feel good service as are the whole team at Advanced Physio. The treatments and education have been totally effective. Patrick and his team are incredibly skilled, but also friendly, professional, and accommodating. While you cannot put a price on the quality of life, I am grateful that the team at Advanced Physiotherapy has allowed me to enjoy my active lifestyle to the fullest.
Being an interior designer and lugging around heavy floor and tile samples gave me a bad back. I actually walked into Advanced Physiotherapy hobbling and in severe pain. After Patrick worked on me, I walked out of there actually skipping. I was so relieved. We continue to go for maintenance. My husband and I can't recommend Patrick highly enough. He's so kind and funny but very professional and he knows his stuff!
