There is only pay parking and there are two beaches in the area. The beaches are rock and the sand is muddy almost. It is a dog friendly beach so expect to see a lot of dog poo. Not on my return list currently. There are picnic tables and many options for food on the Promenade. There are many world famous fish and chip places, but there are queues in high season.Generally not kid friendly. More for couples.
What a beautiful place to visit. When the tide is out, there is a huge sandy beach to enjoy!
Pay parking is basically the only option, or park in city and take a shuttle to the beach.There are two areas, one is dog friendly and the other is exclusively for humans.There are free public washrooms and outside showers.Picnic tables are also along the beach.Great for sunbathing, or paddle boarding or kite surfing.
It is a very nice place to go for a walk, take time off and enjoy life. A place to take your kids out to play on the beach. Bring some food and drinks and have a picnic. Or get some food like fish and chips and have a nice meal.
Almost untouched definitely a gem and what makes BC beautiful. Walking the board walk and the pier is just amazing and definitely worth the trip. Great restaurants in the area and even ice cream. Words can not explain the beauty of this area and a must see for all travellers far and near. Come check out White Rock and what it has to offer. A definite five star experience.
